CIMG0142.jpgStudents in the Ontario elementary school context would have ongoing access to the Medieval Times WebQuest through five classroom computers and occasional access via a computer lab, all with a high-speed internet connection. They could also continue their investigation outside of school through home or public library internet access. Therefore, they would have good access to this WebQuest, however, the broken links and lack of clarity result in its limited academic accessibility (Dodge, 2002)

Lever-Duffy, McDonald, and Mizell (2003) highlight the issues of privacy and appropriate content when implementing technology in the classroom. However, since the WebQuest and its linked websites do not require student’s personal information, they do not violate issues of privacy, nor do they present information that is inappropriate to the grade four classroom. Overall, the Medieval Times Reality Adventure WebQuest is reasonably accessible with a low level of potential harm towards students.
